Believer’s Institute For  Biblical Studies “to be used of God” Entrance Requirements & Credit
Associate / Bachelor Degree Program Students who have a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent may be considered for admission into the Bachelor's degree program. Transfer students and/or students receiving life credit must satisfactorily complete 12 courses at BIBS before a Bachelor's degree will be granted. Master Degree Program Students who have a Bachelor's degree in some field of religious study may be considered for admission into the Master's degree program. Transfer students and/or students receiving life credit must satisfactorily complete 9 courses at BIBS, write a thesis, and pass the Standardized Bible Content Tests* before a Master's degree will be granted. Attendance Students Those who wish to attend classes for spiritual enrichment and the study of God's Word may do so without meeting any entrance requirements. This student will not receive any degree, and therefore is not obligated to complete any of the class requirements. A certificate of attendance will be given to every student who attends the institute. Transfer Students Transfer students will be considered for admission on the presentation of a satisfactory transcript of prior college work and a statement of good standing from the institution of prior attendance. Credits from a secular course of study or a religious institution that does not agree with our Doctrinal Statement may not be transferable. The Dean of Students will make the decision as to which credits will be accepted. Life Credit Credit for life experience will be considered upon receipt of application for entrance into a degree program. The Dean of Students will make the decision as to how much credit will be given. *The Standardized Bible Content Tests consist of four-150 question tests that cover many areas of the Bible. These tests will be given to take home, research, and answer.
